Adrian shot this global campaign for Stoneleigh Wines at the end of last year. A complex shoot to say the least, probably the trickiest brief to date. This was photographed at night in California (for the vine leaves) and the New Zealand vineyard. As usual, everything went smoothly and a well feed and watered crew did a great job.
Adrian shot this for Wall Paper magazine, showcasing the amazing gelato on offer at Gelato Messina.
“In order to prevent the growing need for nationalism and not to rewrite the history of the 20th century, Lidewij Edelkoort wondered how we could come together. 8 food artists from around the world were challenged by this topic and showed us their vision of the future”. Adrian shot these images for the 42 Below Vodka bottle wrap and posters. The model was amazing and extremely detailed. Adrian shot 3 executions – night, sunset and daytime.
Flip Flop was captured in August 2011 in Manly, one of Australia’s most iconic suburbs set on a narrow strip of land between Sydney harbour and the Pacific Ocean. The image depicts an installation created by Dutch born artist Angela van Boxtel. The installation is comprised of thongs fastened to a wire fence in the shape of a heart.

It is a collaborative effort and involves chefs’ Alison Thompson and Tim Keenan and photographer Adrian Lander as well as a host of others to help it all come together including stylists (Kyle Barnett), social networking expert and editor (Jane Wong) and many other food, wine and drink professionals and enthusiasts.
There are some amazing recipes from Alison and Tim and other chefs such as Chris Badenoch and Julia Jenkins. ‘POSTCARDS’ from restaurants and cafes all over the world, wine and cheese recommendations by Max Allen and Will Studd as well as many other drinkers and eaters.

Adrian couldn’t sleep after watching ‘Exit through the gift shop’ and was inspired by the movie to go out at 2am and take a few pics. Armed with his camera, torch and wearing his hoodie this is what he came up with.
